Difference between Aluminum die casting and aluminum permanent mold casting

There are four main difference between Aluminum die casting and aluminum permanent mold casting.

1.Dimension: Die casting is commonly used for producing small to medium-sized parts, permanent mold casting parts are more large.
2.Strength: Permanent mold casting parts have much more better in strength than die casting parts.
3.Permanent mold casting process is good at producing housing parts, as it is available to use sand core. Aluminum die casting don’t.
4.Cost: The cost of die casting parts is more competitive as it can produce a large number of parts in a short time, making it cost-effective. But mold is expensive. If the dimension of the parts is big and your requested quantity is small. Permanent mold parts is a good choice.
