There are many parts by permanent mold casting process, which will need sand core to creat the inner frame.
That is why many parts are not available to produce by die casting, and to use permanent casting process.
The sand cores were produced by core machines, and before they are put into mold of parts, they must be coverd by powder coating.
So that they are easy to remove off from inner of parts.
